Yea, there was a DBQ on Puritans so perhaps not?
My teacher said look out for colonialism/Puritans in general, but we had a colonial/Rev. DBQ last year too so I’d most likely dismiss early US in general

My teacher told our class today that he believes the DBQ will relate to either:
-War of 1812
-Native Americans
-Reagan

I really hope it’s not on Reagan. We learned it recently but I just can’t seem to grasp his foreign policy.

I would love to have a Reagan dbq!! he is like my favorite president haha.
A Jeffersonian Era one would be cool too (my favorite president).
But its going to be either Progressive Era or Era of Good Feelings/Jackson (check DBQ Prediction thread for more info.)
Looking at past test essays, its unlikely the war of 1812 or native americans would be the main question, sectionalism is used way too often and is more of outside historical info than an actual question. MD maybe but too broad.
I hope I’m right hahah!!!

Lincoln is my favorite president. I hope the prompt includes Reconstruction.

Jackson would be interesting to see.

I would love for one to be on taylor

I cant get all of these compromises sorted out. I know there was the missouri compromise of 1817 and 1850, but I always mess them up. Help before i cut my phallus off.

Good Luck to all tomorrow!

can someone link me to the thread for dbq predictions

Want to wish everybody goodluck tomorrow, going to bed now to get about 7 hours in. I spent over 35+ hours this last week studying, I slacked the entire year hopefully I will get a 3. Spent last 6 hours with my teacher in a study group, it ended with him covering everything from Land Bridge to 2001 in a period of about 25 minutes. I thought he was going to have a break down in the 1900’s when he just started spitting out vocab terms xD

My bets are on:
DBQ: Antebellum Period
- Puritans (perhaps women)
- Mercantilism/Salutary Neglect
- Great Society (perhaps compare/contrast)
- WWI/WWII (media or something)

what would it be compared with?

@AspiringStudent: Johnson could be compared with someone, or it could be the policies compared, such as the New Deal vs. Great Society.

Also, don’t know why anyone hasn’t mentioned Reconstruction?

what are the chances of something after nixon coming up on the frq/dbq?

I just took it! (I’m international). Good luck everyone! :)

@journalismjunkie how was it??

nooooooooooo

Good luck everyone! I’m taking the exam in less than two hours…

@journalismjunkie what did you think of the frqs?

Good luck everyone!
