^^ I have that too. Maybe they are updating the system??

^ yes, I just signed on to post that too! I’ve been getting it since I woke up this morning at around 6:00 (yes, checking the status is part of my morning routine, lol)

Lets hope that its a sign that they are posting decision! Although I kind of doubt it…

Sadly, not the case. The internal system, TritonLink, that hosts the MyApplication portal, is down. Not only does this mean you can’t access your application, it means that the staff in the admin office can’t look at anything in TritonLink as well. Unless I’m mistaken, it means the application ship is currently dead in the water unless for some reason they printed things out and can refer to the paper copies (unlikely). You can check the status of their system by going to [UCSD :: Network & Applications Status](http://status.ucsd.edu/) . Wish I could have better news, we’re waiting for an admission decision as well…

I’m probably going to get my UCLA decisions before the time I get my UCSD

ADMITTED APPLICANTS:

What is the provisional admission requirement? Is it 2.00 or better in your last semester or 3.00?

They are back up and I’m back to the regular message, " thank you for your app…"

I’m sorry for asking what may be a dumb question, but does everyone get UCSD Grant Aid, if you still have to contribute nearly the max amount for EFC?

@scienceguy I haven’t been admitted yet, but my friend told me that the provisional terms say a 2.0 for your last semester in transferable courses and a 3.0 overall UC gpa

^ those are my terms, but I didn’t TAG. I did get accepted at UCI (I TAGGED), and the only difference is that my UC GPA must be TAG GPA for my major.

How many Mechanical engineers are already accepted? I recall seeing one person got in with ME.

What baffles me is that UCSB’s is different from those. I hope I get in just incase something happens academically.

@Scienceguy1 - yeah UCSB’s are a lot more lenient. Just don’t get lower than a C in any given class and you’re fine.

Is there anyone on this thread who like me was accepted to UCSB about a month ago and has had no word from SD?

I’m a polisci major for SB and an international studies - polisci major for SD

I was trytotransfer14. It says you should get grades similar to the ones you reported previously. I talked to the admissions office and they didn’t seem all that lenient.

Ill most likely call some time soon but I wanted to know if anyone here might have any thoughts as to why when I log on to my (mygrant.csac… etc) for the cal grant, etc, My college of attendance section only has one school listed? I applied to UCD and UCSD only but at the same time I currently go to CSUS therefore there should be 3 schools listed because I mentioned all 3 of them in my FASFA, plus I obviously haven’t chosen a school to attend for next semester yet due to the fact that I haven’t heard any decisions yet. Furthermore, The odd thing is the only school it has listed there is UCSD??? It should at the very least have UCD their because I know my “application admission decision” requirement is satisfied for them and yet its not there, and CSUS hasn’t got all my stuff yet so it makes sense that its not there. also when I go to UCSD FASFA Page for my application it says that they don’t have anything on file. So I’m confused and don’t know what to think. I wonder does anyone else seem to be having the same issues? if its even an issue at all.

^ when did you get accepted?

Mine isn’t updated yet.

Did anyone’s housing message change? Mine changed to this:

“The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.”.

It used to say that my admission status would not let me apply for housing, but now it says this.

^ I have the same message. I don’t remember what it said before though.

It used to say “Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact The Village Residential Services Office at 858-534-9380 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 6pm.”

Check post #373. I don’t think it means anything though.
