2013 Haas essay prompt has been changed?!!

<p>Hello guys,</p>

<p>HELP!!!I logged into myBerkeleyApplication, and have noticed that the prompt has been changed!
Why is that? I know that this should be the last year's prompt....kinda old, kinda weird!! Does that mean I am already rejected? :(</p>

<h2>It says:</h2>

<p>This form must be completed and submitted online by January 31, 2012; failure to do so will jeopardize your chances for admission.
The essay question was created to provoke honest, thoughtful responses to help us get to know you. It was framed within the context of our four Defining Principles and gives you the opportunity to provide unique information about yourself and your interests. In addition to content, essays are evaluated for writing ability, skill in organizing and presenting thoughts, and the relevance of your answer to the question posed.</p>

<p>All applicants are required to answer the following essay question.</p>

<p>For the Haas School, there are four principles that, taken together, sharply define us relative to other business schools in the United States. As you reflect on these principles (Confidence without Attitude, Question the Status Quo, Students Always, Beyond Yourself) which one do you identify most with? Why?</p>

<p>Please limit your response to approximately 500 words. To avoid a session timeout, we recommend that you compose your essay in a word processor using its Word Count feature, and then cut and paste it in this space.</p>

<p>That’s strange. Mine didn’t change, maybe it’s a glitch?</p>

<p>I just know umairk27 and comp100 and mine prompt have been changed…and I searched your stats and compared with umairk27 and comp100 and mine, I think you have a better chance to be accepted…you know …</p>

<p>Don’t worry, I’m sure we are all on the same playing field. If it makes you guys feel any better, I have spelling mistakes on my personal statements.</p>

<p>anyone received a financial aid email? also to receive any type of fin aid email does your fafsa need to be updated? i mean if you/your parents didnt file taxes for 2012 before filing?</p>

<p>oh and my prompt had changed back to 2013 so idk what that means…</p>

<p>@haasmylove ok i checked today at 5am b/c i had to get up early for work and it was the prompt for 2013 about improvement. now i just checked and its back to the 2012 prompt. this is crazy!</p>
