haha vicky believe me…I am NO ONE to make you feel inadequate. In real life, I’m much closer to the outspoken school-skipping slacker than the standout student…stats have nothing to do with who you really are.

WHO’S FEELING BAD ABOUT THEMSELVES?!

the title of this thread should be re-named: 2013 Single Choice Early Action Applicants: If you think you’re qualified, think again!

I’m not feeling badly at all. I believe 100% in the holistic admissions process. Yale will reject me because I suck individually, not because everyone else is so awesome.

Objective:[ul]
[] SAT I (breakdown): 800 CR/770 M/770 W

[] Counselor Rec: Uh, regurgitated crap about me…
[] Additional Rec: See above. And maybe, just maybe one from my internship mentor.
[] Interview: None yet…haven’t sent my app in yet.
[/ul]Other[ul]
[] State (if domestic applicant): Maryland!
[] Country (if international applicant):
[] School Type: Public, not well known outside of the county/DC area. Everyone remotely smart goes to UMD. End of story.
[] Ethnicity: African-American.
[] Gender: FEMALE!
[] Income Bracket: We’re rich. No just kidding, but I won’t get very much financial aid. Upper middle-class in our county.
[] Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): I don’t really like calling URM a hook, but if you insist. And my dad went to Yale Med School.
[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: I’m vivacious.
[] Weaknesses: Vivacious in real life usually reads more like sporadic/crazy. And that kind of attitude shows on my…intresting transcripts.
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I haven’t been…yet. lol
[/ul]General Comments: Just doing this to show everyone how horrible my application must look to Yale adcoms and how strangely similar my life is to that of eating food’s.

i agree with the statement above.
way to bring my high down. shiiiit.

Haha I don’t want to post my stats because they’d probably give away my identity.

I guess that’s a good thing, though, if they’re that unique…

haha…you two are quite similar (ef and pb).

weird. I guess Maryland is the place to be, eh?

Cato91: I already revealed myself :P. It’s not so bad, luckily I’ve said nothing incriminating on here. LOL.
