@anaval: yep, unlike UCLA, they process summer session manually.

Too bad for Cal.

Is it safe to say that most of us will have a rough idea about if we’re accepted or not by Wednesday/Thursday? In last year’s thread most L&S people saw changes in their URSA and myucla 2 days prior to decisions

These tricks are somewhat accurate but remember that there are cases where it contradicts what an individual receives for a decision.

Ahh that’s true. It would suck to get all of the indicators and then find out we weren’t accepted!

^ Valid grounds for an appeal, IMO. :P

If you still have to update your taxes (if you put 2012 instead of 2013 because they weren’t finished) wouldn’t that cause your URSA to say that it hasn’t received your information or whatever?

3.91, Sociology applicant that’s TAP certified. Just curious if anyone else who didn’t get the information to show up still has to update their FAFSA with current taxes.

@Hokum LOL :D

@Discosteve I only just updated my FAFSA two days ago, but I still get the same message as everyone else

@almalex5

Yeah I still have to put in the new information…doing it tomorrow. So we’ll see if that makes a difference in the URSA.

Did they update the information for L&S yet?

Anyone checked URSA yet? I logged in and was able to update my emergency information and was able to create a UCLA email address. I was also able to log into to the UCLA email.

If it helps, Im in L/S with Comm / Asian American Studies

I was able to update everything too, but still didn’t show anything for the Financial Aid section. Hope that means they’re still reviewing L&S! and i applied to be a Comm major

Anyone else checked? I am able to view financial
aid but cannot log into my email.

I couldnt access my financial aid “Couldnt find financial aid” but I was able to log into my email (and link my gmail to it). Also my name now shows up in the UCLA directory.

@TransferDK: Did you try to enroll for summer? We all got exactly what you’re describing, but we did try the summer trick.

At this point, seeing your financial aid or your major on MyUCLA would be more of an indication.

Check your MyUCLA.

Where would you see your major on myucla? I took summer courses at ucla last summer so it has information for me already from summer, how would I see any different sign that I might possibly be accepted as an applicant rather than just looking at my old summer school profile?

Are you guys saying that you have the UCLA e-mail because you did the summar trick?

@Hoping are you L&S?

@ttavakol: Try doing the summer enrollment trick for this upcoming summer. If your major is in L&S, you may need to wait a few more to see any indicators.

@anaval: Yes. Or if you can already see your major on MyUCLA, as is the case with several engineering students, it may be an indicator of acceptance.

@TransferDK
How did you create a ucla.edu email? I s that a good sign or anybody else can get one?
