Yes!!! My utterly non-URM son just got a call from a UCSD volunteer! He wasnā€™t here, and she wouldnā€™t speak to me . . . but was willing to say that she wouldnā€™t be calling if it wasnā€™t good news.</p>

<p>My D got a call yesterday by a biochem prof and just now by a bio student - both told her she was admitted and confirmed major (physics)! HOORAH!! Looking forward to Apr 5 Triton Day</p>

<p>My daughter got a call, but it was so unexpected all she knows is that she was accepted. </p>

<p>Looks like it has something to do with choosing Muir (I choose that one as well). I got a call from a area code 832 number a few hours ago (they called twice) but my phone was silent. Wondering if I missed my early acceptance call. :(</p>

<p>Edit: Iā€™m white as can be so Iā€™m definitely not a URM.</p>
