2014 AP score RESULTS thread

@pa4532‌ If your confident that there was an error then you should. But it costs like 30 bucks so unless your very sure that something is wrong, then go for it.

Thank you sir @Matt846‌

SOPH
Calc BC: 5
(AB SUB): 5
Euro: 3
Lang and Comp: 3
Pretty satisfied, I was originally worried about even passing the Lang (and to a lesser degree, Euro) and although I was confident in a 5 on Calc, I’m relieved to finally confirm that I didn’t accidentally bomb any sections.

y’all don’t have to use a proxy. I got this off the AP Chem thread but just go to ■■■■■■■■■, type in apscore.org and type in your information when prompted. just worked for me, i’m staring at my scores now!

i don’t think browsers matter - i’m running Safari right now.

I can’t even load ■■■■■■■■■

@batman9 it takes a while you just have to let it sit for a little bit.

Just checked and I got a 4 on World History! My first AP exam! I’m quite happy with that score, considering I BS-ed a large part of the essays and only studied for 2 hours the night before the test, because I thought AP exams were “easy”. Ha, not doing that next year - I’m taking 7. :)

For those who don’t know how to configure a proxy, go to settings on Chrome (pull down menu on top right and click settings), click advanced settings, click “change proxy settings”, and then, under the “connections” tab, go to “LAN settings”. Check the “use a proxy” box and put in the address and port number and click ok.

Get a proxy address based in California or some state that has their scores through websites which you can find by googling “free proxy lists US”

Hey guys, I want to do an anonymous spreadsheet of the AP score distribution to see what people got. Would you guys put your scores on this spreadsheet? Help is appreciated.

@GranTurismo330‌ I’ve tried that multiple times but it says the page can’t be displayed…ugh

@Marrissa Try this: <a href=“How to get your AP scores right now – Joseph Gorman”>http://josephegorman.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2014/07/05/how-to-get-your-ap-scores-right-now/</a></p>

So i got a 2 on my APWH exam. Should i get it rescored? I took ap geo freshman year and got a 3, and i felt much better about the test this year than last year.
Also, the county i live in took the late test for apwh, so i don’t know if that had anything to do with the curve on the test since only a small percentage of students took it. I would not normally do this, but with all of these things idk

AP Human- 5
not really an accomplishment but i’m still happy. i’m going to take many more APs for the next 3 years and i’m scared as hell.

@superstarlala‌ and others, Download “Open Door” from the app store. It’s a proxy. You’re welcome  lol

Calc AB-5
APUSH-5
US GOV-4 :frowning:
English Lit-4

I have mixed feeling toward these scores. Considering my gov teacher did not teach A SINGLE THING all year, and I studied for the test the day before, I shouldn’t feel to bad about the 4… But when I left the test, I immediately knew I made some stupid mistakes not based on lack of knowledge, but forgetting what I learned that could have and did ruin my chances at getting a 5.

The English multiple choice seemed ridiculously hard, even though on practice tests I did really well, and everybody was talking about how easy it was. I found myself rushing through it for the first time ever, and barely finished on time. My essays were good, but on the last one about deliberately sacrificing something, I wrote about one that was NOT deliberate, and even though I wrote a great essay it probably couldn’t get higher than a 5/9. So I was expecting a 3 on this test, and it was bittersweet that I got a 4; It was good because even when I thought I did crappy I somehow didn’t, but it was bad because if it weren’t for the last essay I probably would have gotten a 5.

On Calculus I messed up really badly on the free response, and was actually somewhat worried that I wouldn’t get a 5, but I did really well on the multiple choice, and the curve is so good that fear was quickly assuaged.

The APUSH test was the only one where I didn’t make any stupid, needless mistakes, and knew that I not only got a 5 but that it would be near the upper middle range, and not just on the borderline. I studied for this one by reading an online outline, and doing two multiple choice tests, and I did not take the class this year.

So overall, my gov teacher was completely useless, but I probably got one of the highest average of scores in the school, but it doesn’t really matter because MIT doesn’t accept anything lower than a 5! But out of all the AP tests I took this year, Gov was the easiest to study for because its basically just memorization. The only really consolation prize I will get is the AP scholar with distinction because I got two 4s in previous years lol. I don’t know why I spent so much time writing this, probably because I’m pissed at my government score and disappointed with my English testing experience because I strongly assume that I was on the borderline for gov!

In conclusion, don’t freak out during AP exams; stay calm and remember that you know a lot. And once you’re done with them, just enjoy life and stuff and don’t have a bad gov teacher haha.

Google doc for scores https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PWHeSI54o-8I6OPoJxwFxjcFDRX_YzDZogQP0h76TEI/edit#gid=0</a>

@DrawYourSwords‌ “Open Door” is a proxy app (app store, not sure about others)

By far the easiest way to find your scores if they are not yet uploaded to your state is by downloading the app opendoor and then searching the score through that app.

AP Lang - 5 and APUSH - 4, my first AP tests so I’m pretty thrilled! I was expecting maybe a 4 on AP Lang and a 3 or 4 on APUSH, so, yay.

How did people do on Physics B? I thought I bombed it and I got a 3 idk how
