2014 AP Statistics Thread

The school funding one was fuggin impossible. #1 was a joke though

The FRQs were all a joke except for the last one tbh lol

i thought #6 was pretty easy.

school funding: a) was like highly unlikely, b) I put less likely to lose funding with the 3-day suggested plan c) (3/5)^3 right? = .064 = 6.4% of not choosing T, W, or T

I got your a and b but I couldn’t answer C

It was so easy. That was a real surprise how easy it was, no stats for me in college!

Easiest test ever. The MC was kinda hard but not impossible. All of the FRQ’s were all a joke. Period.

I got that probability regarding the women.
@julyjade24‌ You got a and b but not c. Possibility of NOT choosing Tues, Wed, and Thurs. 3 weeks of school days so 15 days in total. 6 days are M and F. 654/151413 = answer.

@julyjade24 @hawkace wait would it not be (2/5)^3. because the prob of it not being tues wed or thurs is (2/5) then for 3 weeks it would be (2/5)^3? Also, can we compile a list of answers in google docs or can we post them all here?

was the test one a two sample t test?

@XCBro4Life‌ That’s wrong. I can’t talk about answers so just PM me so I can show you how it is done.

@hawkace do you know if anyone has a google doc?

Which graph would you choose engine size or the other one in question no. 6 ? Oh and why ?

@hawkace you can post the answers here. people did it on other forus the day of the test. college board wont do anything

@XCBro4Life‌ I rather not. Just PM me. I don’t have a google doc.

EVERYONE POST ANSWERS HERE. and or create google doc.

Question no. 6, which graph should be used as second explanatory variable engine size ( first graph ) or the other one ?

i put the gas liters or whatever . don’t quote me hbu?

I put engine size

same thing. elaborate?

the test was matched pair

I’m confused because it was residual of length vs engine size so one should choose the one scattered randomly or the one which has strong correlation
