The exam is on tuesday...I just started studying today and I self-studied Stat...I sort of giving up this exam already...
Can anyone share some of the tips on Stat? I know Probablity and distributions are pretty important.Are there any essential equations to memorize??
Thank you so much!

bumpbump please

im in the same situation...but since most of it is inferentials (35% according to barrons)....it's prolly most worth it to review chisquare tests and confidence intervals.....or something like that...maybe

@thesparetire,

are you in the same situation???? I just did a sample test, the multiple choices are sorta ok.but the free responses....

@yeahsurewhatever,

I saw the princetonreview, it says you have to show the clear steps for getting the answer in free responses instead of writing all the things the calculator tell you...

OK...isn't that common knowledge...did I appear to oppose that?

Apparently you can't just write the key strokes from the calculator. You have to use the formulas, using the formula sheet, to show the results.

uhh...I'm just getting so stressed out right now...all my friends only spent like one day self-study and got a perfect 5...I'm so dumb @@

Important thing to know (especially for free response) will be your hypothesis tests for significance: 1 sample, 2 sample, 1 proportion, 2 proportion, chi square. Know when to use each and when to use z or t statistic, show dof, p values, confidence intervals, ASSUMPTIONS for your test.

i don't even know when to use any of those....it's going to be a loooong night!

There's no way you're gonna be able to self study all of stats in two days. Hopefully you can study really hard these next two days and at leats pull off a 3.

lol

anymore advice peeps?

Store the formulas on your ti-83, since you will be using it for both parts. Last year's stats free response probably included the best mix of inferential stats questions. I think 4 of the problems dealt with hypothesis testing and each of them required different methods. Do that one if you're running out of time.

hahaha, i would like to know how we all do on this stats test!
GOODLUCK everyone!

hey are there a lot of running stimulartions? i totally forget it!
