@sonic23 @collegedropout1 I highly doubt it. If they already had everyone’s decisions (if the housing message predictor was accurate that would mean they already have everyone’s decisions in) then it wouldn’t be coming out in batches until April 18. It’s coming out in batches which means they don’t know everyone’s decisions yet.

Therefore there’s no way the housing message could be an accurate indicator, especially for transfer students.

@inshallah12
Agree. I’ve seen in this post ppl with TAG saw their housing with “not allow you…”
But how could a TAG person get rejected (I mean it happens but I assume ppl posted here met all the requirements)

I keep seeing posts on twitter about waiting till the 18th now for decisions, until they fix it but it seems odd why not monday? Last year they posted decisions on saturday and sunday, so I would think they would fix it sooner than the 18th

LOL this is ridiculous!!! And the “HOUSING TRICK” someone mentioned is BS!
I first signed in and the housing said:
"Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact the Housing Office at 858-534-4010 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 4pm. "

I just signed out and signed in again and it said:
"No Housing Application Fee required. You may apply today before you decide what university to attend.
You will have completed the housing application process when you arrive at the Confirmation Page. "

Everybody just ■■■■ and wait a few more days :DD…I hope my 101 post on this website would be about my Acceptance!

Yeah, this housing “trick” business is just speculation with absolutely nothing confirmed. We’ve already made it this far, just wait a little bit more for concrete news instead of getting worried about something that may or may not even work.

Every year people come out with the whole “housing trick” thing and every year it’s nothing but a sham. Just chill and stop checking it, it literally has no bearing on anything.

@CollegeDropout1 - L.M.F.A.O. first of all it’s Sunday tomorrow, 2nd they can’t provide any personal information over the phone because of FERPA.

Lol I still have that admissions won’t allow you to apply for housing but couple minutes ago There was a tuberculosis test and said if I don’t complete a tb test by a nurse since I filled it out saying I’ve been to Asia, they said I won’t be able to register for classes.

Sorry I know this might be repetitive and these changes might be freaking people out
Now this: No Housing Application Fee required. You may apply today before you decide what university to attend.

@Mik194 The housing message means nothing. People with tag have the “your admissions status will not allow you” message. Also people have received both the “will not allow you” and the “you may apply today” message

Don’t dwell on the housing message guys. Just wait, wait, wait. Good luck everyone!

@Mik194 Yea that might be legit. Who knows? But I wouldn’t get too invested in it because you’ll never really know until you get your official notice. So whats the point, you know?
