As expected, Michigan has neither improved, nor weakened. In many cases, it moved up or down a spot or two, but that's about it.

BUSINESS
Michigan dropped from #13 in the 2013 ranking to #14 in the 2014 ranking. That's not significant as there seems to be very little difference between MBA programs ranked between #8 and #15. They all have similar starting salaries ($133k-$138k) and reputations. The starting salaries for Ross MBAs was close to $135k.

ENGINEERING
Michigan dropped from #8 in 2013 to #9 in 2014. It remained ranked among the top 10 in ten different disciplines of Engineering. As usually, only Cal, Caltech, MIT and Stanford have higher reputational scores. Michigan's closest peers reputationally were CMU, Cornell, Georgia Tech, Texas-Austin and UIUC.

LAW
Michigan improved from #10 in 2013 to #9 in 2014. Again, that is not significant. The top 14 Law schools are all considered stellar, with Harvard, Stanford and Yale holding a special place in the eyes of the legal community. As always, Michigan Law's reputational ranking was impressive. According to Lawyer, judges and law firms, Michigan Law was tied in second place with Chicago, Stanford and Yale and received a score of 4.7, an improvement from last year's 4.6 rating. That's truly very impressive. Only Harvard was rated higher according to lawyers, judges and Big Law. That's not surprising as Michigan Law has always been considered excellent. Its reputation rating among legal scholars actually dropped from 4.5 to 4.4. When you average the two reputational scores, which in my opinion yields the most accurate quality of a law school, Michigan gets a reputational score of 4.55, which is the 6th highest, behind Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Chicago and Columbia, but ahead of NYU and UVa.

MEDICINE
Michigan Medical improved from #10 in 2013 to #8 in 2014. Overall, it was tied wit Chicago, Columbia and Duke. Reputationally, Michigan Medical was tied in third place with Duke, Stanford, UCSF and WUSTL among Resident Directors with a rating of 4.6. It was rated in 6th place, tied with Duke, by deans of Medical schools, with a rating of 4.4. Overall, Michigan has the 6th best reputation among Medical schools, tied with Duke and ahead of Chicago, Columbia and Yale.

Also, Michigan was one of just two top 10 Research Medical programs that was also ranked among the top 10 in Primary Care (UCSF was the other).
