He/she got theirs last night because the post was made at 8:42pm yesterday.

I was under the impression they didn’t post decisions outside of a 9-5 kind of time frame so I’m wondering if maybe they posted it earlier and they didn’t see it until later. If they did post it that late I’ll feel completely justified checking my status at all hours of the day and night.

Lavendemalick: As long as you completed your FAFSA, you should be fine. My son just added UT to his FAFSA and 2 days later his My Status page said “In Review.” There was some kind of glitch with my daughter’s and UT had not pulled the information so it appeared she had not applied for financial aide. She simply emailed them and within 24 hours her financial aid was posted.

Lol Ikr! I remember from previous years threads that some people got their decisions on odd hours and some even got them on a Sunday! I guess they put the decisions in and send it through their system accordingly, they don’t have to be there physically to send decisions.

Thank you guys I will do it asap and goodluck to y’all…

I hope that each of you who are waiting on decisions gets in.

Just so you’ll know, the enrollment process is a lot quicker. The only two items that could take some time are getting your high school to submit official transcripts and sending in proof of a meningitis immunization (must be since 2009). I dropped by UT last week and got my UT ID card and upgraded UTEID in about five minutes. Someone told me that the lines to do this at orientation are really long. We won’t be able to register for classes until after the January 6 enrollment.

Another thing I was told last week is that we need to make sure to have proof of Texas Skills initiative. I already have 12 hours of English and six hours of math, but I still have a bar on my registration until they get my test scores. If UT doesn’t accept your TSI, then you can still register but you’ll have to enroll in lower level or even remedial classes.

I also got an apartment in Austin’s Far West/Woodhollow area. The UT shuttle has several stops there, and the neighborhood is safe with a nice mix of students and young professionals. One bedrooms are about $800+ and I think two bedrooms start at about $950. All the locations I looked at had pools, weight rooms, community events, etc.

Sorry if this is redundant or unnecessary info for you. Just wanted to share this info because it was new to me.

I will be living in far west as well!

Any colombians transferring to UT?

Just got admitted five minutes ago.

Got denied for my first choice Computer Science. Accepted to COLA Economics.

3.76 GPA transfer from ACC. I’m intending to double major and CS doesn’t seem too difficult to internal transfer to (based on the transfer info session I attended).

Congrats Barqux.

Yeahhh. I got admitted.

My major is Computer Science.

GPA: 3.9
Other things are normal.

Congrats barqux!!

Congrats everyone!!

Just got accepted as my only choice: Math! I’m so excited right now :)

Anybody for bio yet?

Was accepted this morning for first choice Computer Science. I have a 3.53 GPA, core complete, cal 1,2,3 and linear algebra and 2 semesters each of bio & chem. Congrats to all those accepted, I can’t wait to start!

Not sure if anyone would know,

But I’m currently retaking an economics class I took over the summer, got a “B” and decided to take it again hoping for an “A” this time around. If I end up with a “B” again, will it be counted twice when UT receives or just once?

so someone with a 3.7 gpa got decline for computer science but someone else got accepted to computer science with a 3.5.
yep, gpa is not the only thing they look…
i am still waiting for mine… :)

I got accepted! So happy! Got into entry level Nutrition (CNS)… which was my first choice. My gpa was 3.7 with 140 hours volunteering at a hospital… And done with bio 1, chem 1,2, organic chem 1, cal 1, and cal 2 is in progress.
Will be done with 56 credits at the end of this semester :)

I’m a bit unsure about something. MyStatus wants me to submit my final high school transcripts, but when I tried looking up details on how to do that, I couldn’t find anything on the UT website about high school transcripts for transfer students. But they did ask for final official college/university transcripts. Is that what they’re actually asking for?

Plus, I attended 3 high schools but graduated from none, so it seems like a pointless hassle to get all those transcripts. :P

gnomon
Do you have GED?.
Submit transcript from the last school you attended.

@Ya Ya: Yes, I do. I’m really clueless about this process. Do I just call up my last high school and ask them to send it?
