Anyone have last year’s rankings to compare?

^ Here are last year’s (i.e., the 2013) rankings:

[National University Rankings | Top National Universities | US News Best Colleges 2013](http://web.archive.org/web/20130816174400/http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/spp+50)

Wow- Didn’t expect to see schools like Lehigh and Miami drop, they were on the rise and also have a good party atmosphere which I like. Very surprised at Penn State(37?!?!?). Schreyer Honor’s College is top notch but I think considering how big it is that schools like Miami and Lehigh would be higher ranked. I agree with Wake Forest at 23 (5 way tie lol), always been underanked.

PA of Michigan 4.5
PA of Duke 4.4

It seems things are back to normal again.

^ Haha! BURN

“Texas and Washington are tied with #52 Ohio State. TOSU is moving up!!”

Still not top 50 quite yet as you once predicted Sparkeye. It appears that UT and Washington moved down more than tOSU has risen. Maybe next year?

How about the PA for the #1 public?

Some people dream of their schools being ranked among the top 10 in the country.

…then they wake up.

“Some people wish their schools can be ranked 7th in the country.”

Actually, I would wish my favorite school were ranked in the top 5. :-)

“How about the PA for the #1 public?”

What is the PA of Berkeley this year?

US News completely changed their rankings methodology this year. You can’t read too much into changes from last year this time around.

@rjk, #52 is the highest ranking TOSU has ever received, compared to last year’s #56. There is no #50 or #51 this year. The schools ranked right above TOSU this year are Florida, UCI & NEU ranked, a three-way-tied at #49.

USNWR will be using TOSU’s Comm App data next year for the ranking, in which case, the school has received an additional 25% applicants, with an ave ACT score of 28.5. In short, tOSU moving into the Top-50 is inevitable imho. In fact, I predict Ohio State to be ranked in the Top-40 (Top-10 Public) by 2020 based on its Academic Plan - “Being Excellent and Becoming Eminent.” [Provost Alutto’s Address to the University Senate 2012 - Office of Academic Affairs - The Ohio State University](http://oaa.osu.edu/provost-address-to-senate-2012.html)

Why has Michigan’s PA increase not boosted Michigan within the rankings? Seems like Michigan’s been stuck at the 28 rank for years now.

From Alexandres post, Berkeley’s PA is 4.7, tied with Caltech.

Does anyone have the full 2014 us news undergraduate business rankings?

don’t anyone tell xiggi. :D

^^^That’s precisely the reason why I made the post. :-)

OK, 2014 ranking is out. As somebody predicted, HYP are 1,2,3 again. The only difference is that Princeton is at 1 this time. It is pointless trying to come up with 1,2,3 ranking for HYP every year. They should just either rank HYP tied as #1 or just randomly select 1,2,3 every. If you have to rank then 1,2,3, how can you justify Princeton as #1 when they lose every year in cross-admit “battle” against Harvard and Yale? Most prospective students don’t choose Princeton because it does not have medical school, law school, and business school. Pre-med students need to have medical research and hospital volunteer experiences that Princeton can’t easily provide like Yale and Harvard can. Princeton is excellent for students interested in math, science, and a future career in Wall Street. Almost 30% Princeton graduates choose to go to Wall Street. Wait a minute, that should be a strike against Princeton considering the damages Wall Street has done to our society.

Said post:

Did you see the tremendous jump PSU received this year Sparkeye? They seem to be the most up and coming school in the B1G going from 46th to 37th in the past year.
