Last year people were saying that if you didn’t get accepted the first round you were rejected… Is that true?
I hardly believe so, @FuturePAinCA. If you look at last year’s forum, there are several people who didn’t get notices the first day…some as far back as April.

Is it true that the date changes when they look at your application on your webportal?
For example, I sent my application on October 24th, and it still says that date…
Just curious if those admitted or denied had a change of date on their portal under “admission status date”
@lbstudies I actually called SDSU about that a week ago because my date still says 10/08/14 which is the day my application was submitted, and they said no, that just because the date hasn’t changed doesn’t mean the application hasn’t been looked at.
My date hasn’t changed. Nevermind, I saw that you meant for those who had decisions.
Is it me or has anyone noticed that those who are getting admitted so far are the less-impacted majors. Besides this forum I’ve seen a lot of art, performance, and film majors. Not so much business, math, or comms majors.
I also noticed that on last year’s forum, some students received denials 5 days after the initial day acceptances were sent out (March 5th). Afterwards, transfer students didn’t really hear back until April 7th. So although a student last year claimed admissions sent out decisions in weekly “batches,” the posts on CC don’t really support his claim (of course unless people didn’t post their status). Based on history, it looks like we are exactly 5 weeks away from hearing back #thanksADT.
Sidebar: I have come to the point where I dreamt last night that my “application date” changed to March 9th, 2015 and that my decision was coming today! I checked my status – of course to make sure I wasn’t dreaming – but I knew it was too good to be true. My life is a mess waiting in limbo.
@TruffleButter It’d be nice if they just give a little more info as far as the process, like announcing to local transfer ADT applicants that their decisions won’t be until April. The only information we have is from each other and sometimes even that’s not enough to quell the anticipation! I really should be working on my econ and calculus right now but, I’m just waiting for some kind of news. I’m sure if I don’t hear anything by Thursday, then I’ll probably (and sadly) just accept that maybe I really won’t hear anything until April.

Hi, Theater Arts is a very impacted major and is also a two step process of being accepted into the University and then after audition into the major.
@oaklandas9 Will you have an Associte Degree for Transfer at the end of the spring semester or a regular AA/AS?
I’ve noticed that too. Most of the majors I’ve seen being accepted are really random ones, like dance & graphic design.
Anyone get accepted as a business admin finance major? I feel like they might be admitting by major because I’ve seen a lot of the same majors getting accepted.
@ieatsushi yeah I’ve accepted that those of us with an adt won’t know until early April since the verification isn’t being processed until the 15th.
Im just a regular transfer applicant… not with an adt… so does that mean im not in?
