Even though I know they said April, I’m still hoping we hear something this week. [-O<
@ieatsushi I’m hoping to hear something by Friday because decisions never come out during spring break. >:P
So I’ve been reading this discussion for the past month and thought I’d join! …getting super anxious!
I’m a Business Admin AS-T for Transfer
From San Diego Mesa College
3.27 GPA - 3.80 GPA in Major requirements
Do AS-T transfers really get priority? Because it seems everyone I talk to has already been notified and gotten in… and we’re still waiting? I feel like community colleges just want you to get your two year degree because it helps them…but not necessarily us getting into a college…
Just yesterday a guy and girl in one of my classes said they got into SDSU already without the AS-T into Business Admin and Business Finance. She had a 3.4gpa and he said he had barely a 3.0gpa! I feel like I should have done the same?..
What do you think my odds are?? feeling a little discouraged…
@terra009 Remember: because of your AS-T, you will be given a .1 bump in your GPA for admissions purposes. So your 3.27 will be considered as a 3.37 which helps a little. If the guy in your class was being truthful about his 3.0, I would say you are for sure in because your AS-T specifically from Mesa College gives you priority. Even though those of us with AA-T/AS-Ts have to wait longer, they have already designated a certain number of seats to those of us who have met all of the requirements…they just have a very late deadline to verify the ADT degrees which in turn causes us to have to wait longer for our decisions. I don’t know why they don’t just make the deadline for e-verifications earlier than March 15th…makes no sense and never will.
I’d say your chances are pretty good.
Can any one answer me this question, when you guys did the supplemental app when you inster the letter grade you got (for X class) did it give the option only C or better?
@alelii yes, unless you did the custom class. Then it would ask for the grade.
@raychill89 Thanks for the insight! Gives me a bit more peace of mind.
I do hope I get in! I’ll keep this board posted with any updates
Thanks @ieatsushi
If you’re in school right now, enjoy your spring break! Can’t believe after next week, we may finally know where we stand with SDSU! Keep all your fingers and toes crossed that decisions don’t get pushed out any farther!
Again, good luck to everyone!!!
Might as well join the discussion since i check this thread everyday.
Major - Business Admin (general business on application )
Location - MiraCosta College (Oceanside)
GPA - 3.38
AA/AS-T? AA
Some girl in my class already got into sdsu as a finance major with a 3.0 gpa
Nd some other kid got denied already and he had a 3.0 gpa and also applied as general business so i am super confused.
Applied: SDSU, CSUF, CSUSM,CSUDH
ACCEPTED- CSUF, CSUSM, CSUDH
PENDING - SDSU
I just contacted SDSU today to see when the projected date is for ADT decisions to be sent out, and the guy told me the first week of April which we’ve heard before. However, when I asked him “That’s technically next week though, isn’t it? Will they release decisions even though it’s over the spring break?” and he said “Most likely.” They are only closed there in admission on Tuesday March 31st and are open all other weekdays over the break.
Even though we get so many different answers about things from the people working in admissions, there is a possibility we could know our fate NEXT WEEK. Wouldn’t that be something…? Trying not to get my hopes up too much so I guess I’m just going to continue to expect not to be notified until the week after next just in case…but if it happens sooner, obviously all the better. If anyone finds anything else out, please post here!
It would be awesome to hear something (hopefully an acceptance) next week since I’ll be in Vegas and I could celebrate! But then again, it’d be crappy to get a rejection while I’m on vacation too. I’ve been prepping myself emotionally for the worst but, I hope, hope, hope that we will hear something next week.
Why do all AA/AS-T verification students hear last from SDSU??
Can it be april yet
Omg, I just can’t wait for SDSU any longer. I have so much that needs to be figured out before June (mostly housing) because I am going across the country for a couple months starting June 1st and I don’t really want to try to figure out everything I need from 2,500 miles away.
I’d previously paid my SIR for Cal Poly Pomona as a backup, but now I am officially going to give up on SDSU and go full throttle for CPP!
Good luck to the rest of you and I hope your decisions are released soon :-*

Hey everyone! I go to SDSU right now. I transferred in Fall 2014. I understand the stress just be patient! cant believe they are making you wait till april.
When you guys get accepted, which i know you will… Some friends and I are looking for a girl to fill a single room at BLVD 63 apartments (college apartments). When i was on this forum i wish someone had told me about the best living options.
Down to earth girls, academically focused, but we also know how to have a good time Let me know if you would be interested by facebook message. -Michele Silver or email msilver018@yahoo.com

@irapuato So you heard back from SDSU already with your acceptance!?? Congrats! Still wondering how they send some batches of AS-T transfers acceptance letters out before others…
