Edit. Literally just got the email. Says the same thing someone posted about judging still being underway and the other finalists will know by the end of this week or early next week.

That is the exact wording.
Son found out today that he will be receiving a $1,000 allocated Scholarship from the NC State Elks Association. Very nice that the North Carolina Elks reward students that made it to the State finals, but were not selected as one of the 8 National finalists from our state. Best of luck to those awaiting the top 20.
Just received the email. Not in the top 20. But that’s okay! Will be attending Bull Dog days at Yale that week!

I was notified about a week and a half ago that I am in the Top 20. I can’t wait to meet everyone at the Leadership Weekend.
@JayLittle can you share stats and a bit about your ECs, top choice school etc? My D advanced to states and not beyond that, always curious what A profile of a winner is. Granted I understand there are variations, but just curious. Thanks.

I will be attending The University of Alabama majoring in Computer Science. I have been enrolled at East MS Community College for 2 years and I have 52 credits already.
At school, I am SGA & Class President. I am marching band captain and I also play soccer. I have been a part of many service organizations and have over 800 community service hours. I have established my own business and I am an advocate for educational excellence for students across my region. I am a Ron Brown Captain, Google Scholar, GE-Reagan Scholar Finalist, Gates Millennium Scholars Finalist, AABE Scholar, and a couple other stuff.
Does anyone know if the $1,000 from the Michigan Elks Association is renewable?
I don’t know about Michigan, but the $1,000 from the Arkansas Elks is not.
My D won money today from our local Elk’s Lodge.
