<p>i read a lot of posts from years ago and they mostly say that a major change and a change in the financial aid section is a hint that we got accepted. I'm not so sure about that since i don't want to get my hopes up and a few posts have stated that it is not significant and does not indicate anything. has anyone else had this change? i called the admissions office and all the woman did was tell me that she cannot release any information so i am just confused and anxious for the decision to come out! </p>
<p>If your major was changed from CAS to LSP, it usually means you are either being considered for LSP as opposed to CAS, or you were denied from CAS and accepted to LSP. I think a change in major is a good sign for acceptance to whatever major you were changed to.</p>
<p>Oh it changed from CAS to steinhart. Did you apply ED as well? </p>
<p>Yes. I put down my second choice as Steinhardt, though I haven’t had a change in my major.</p>
