Some people have been saying theres a correlation between acceptance and the change of your FA summary in Albert to the year 2014 and "No self-service access available." Apparently if it says no changes or something you will be rejected?

Can past applicants chime in on this? I feel like everyone is over reacting and it means nothing.

The FA rumors aren’t there for no reason. People clearly saw the correlation among the people who got in and didn’t, and there is concrete evidence that those who had their FA changed eventually went in.

No, what happened was they pushed back the deadline from the 15th to the 18th for EDI students. On the 15th some people’s FA info changed like mentioned above. No one was really sure about the correlation, because usually people who were rejected do not come back and post on top of that, there was a lot of questions about people who FA did not change, but got accepted into another school or college (instead of the one they mentioned primary interest in).

This only happened because they pushed the deadline back and the systems (I assume) we not reset to not release FA info. This, I am willing to bet on, will not happen for EDII or RD students considering it has not happened in the past and only occurred to the EDI students because of the deadline being changed xD hope that cleared it up!

^RD applicants have ‘No information available’, and some EDII applicants still have that sign, I just confirmed, so there is definitely a change.

Judging by the ED I CC forum, most of the people who had changes were accepted, especially Stern, but this may be purely coincidental. Additionally, there were 1-2 tisch applicants who got the change who were not accepted- a few also reported being rejected with a 2013- Award Access Not Available…Who knows whats going on here… LOL.

Mine reads 2014 Award Access Not Available, and as much as I’d like to read into it and start the celebration, I am pretty sure it means nothing.

I’ve seen people be both rejected (See EDI Thread) and accepted with this message. We aren’t giving NYU enough credit…don’t you think they would know about this bug and fix it by now?

Stop worrying guys, only a few more days and we will know for certain.
