I haven’t had much practice with this new SAT. I did take the new PSAT, and these are my scores:

I’ll be needing a tutor (probably online) once I do some of my own self-studying, so how should I self-study with the materials I have? My goal is to get over 1500 and as close to 1600 as possible (obviously).
Can anyone help me map out what I need to study on my own in the course of this year since my time for the SAT test is coming up soon. Suggestions on which tutoring websites to use will also be very helpful.
I know this might not be what you’re looking for, but as I’m seeing so many people sell their souls in obssession over one of the most ridiculous tests of all time, I would like to remind you that there are other options. There are many many good universities which do not require SAT scores, so I would check those out first before giving up your life.
I am in the same position as you are. I scored 1110 on the new PSAT ( ıt is not that good but I think I can score higher on the SAT)my goal is To get 1500+.and since I am an international student , I have to study more To raise my reading and writing score.
First thing that I dİd was To take a diagnostic test (I suggest you to take the college board’s test) .after I Took it and looked at the explanations , I categorize my mistakes as question types and chapters like linear equations etc.then I planed out my schedule based on the number of mistakes that I did on a question type.after I did this, I took my calendar and found out which dates I can study the SAT.
I Hope this helped.good luck
The self study material you have is great! I would also recommend practicing a little everyday which will keep you in touch with the content. Try answering practice questions and solving complete practice tests. Also an in-depth knowledge about the topics included in the test would prove very useful.
Kaplan is a good book to start with for vocab. If you are looking for more material, please go through Direct Hits or Barron’s. These should suffice.
@alexhuang76 honestly I just started To study the new sat &SATIIs. However,I do not know if my schedule will work since it is Winter break in my country.
