@phoenix23 @stahboy @guitar333 I didn’t take any APs in high school but I agree, common sense tells me that you should send them with everything else. The point of AP test scores is to fulfill college credits, so why would you not send them along with all of your other college credits, which are on your transcripts? I just don’t see why you wouldn’t send them now
Did any of you address a second major in your “academic interests” essay?
@jjcc77 very briefly, actually put it at the beginning. Said my second choice was economics because of its close relation to business and because like business, it leaves room for a minor. That was about all I said though, mostly talked about business
@jjcc77
Since I’m majoring in Computer engineering/science with astronomy, I sort of intertwined them by noting that having computer programming skills can vastly enhance an astronomer’s, or any scientist’s, work. (And vice versa, knowing the physics surrounding celestial events can better your mindset when developing software related to that field)
@penntousc @AGoodFloridian Thanks!
For those of you who have submitted your applications, when you reviewed the pdf of your application, did the USC writing supplements show up in the PDF?
@jjcc77 yes
@moncc44 on the same pdf with the personal statement or separately?
Who still hasn’t submitted their app? I’m on my 100th proofread
@stahboy same :((
I’m losing my mind, everything sounds wrong. I need to turn it in soon or I never will be satisfied haha
Good luck!
@stahboy @mellyjune I just submitted mine and I finished it about a week ago .-.
@et8818 did your writing supplements show up in pdf after submitting your common app?
@jjcc77 USC supplements should be in a pdf separate from your personal (Common App) essay
@jjcc77 after i submitted, i got a separate pdf for the writing supplement and the personal statement with the rest of the app if that makes sense. and the pdf did show the actual essays within it
@jjcc77 everything shows up in a pdf after submitting it
@mellyjune @moncc44 @et8818 Thanks! Submitted. Now time to get back to studying
how does business as a junior leave room for a minor or major?
Does anybody know of a place where I can see an example essay from somebody who has been admitted?
@cc2LAuniversity depends on what you’ve completed, but it doesn’t leave as much room as it would if you were a sophomore. If you were referring to my comment about my essay and saying that I’d have room for a minor, it’s because I’m a sophomore applicant so I would have the room
Just submitted my application, good luck everyone!
