Chance me please!

EC : Average
Essay: Average

Community college transfer from Los Angeles County.
No SAT or ACT
Will have one recommendation letter from Sociology Professor from my CC
Do I have a good chance of getting in?
Thankyou!
@GRstudent94 hey my major and alt are socio and anthro too! what a coincidence
Hey everyone! I hope your falls semester went well and I wish everyone good luck on their applications and transfer road. I was just wondering I noticed that usc didn’t require letters of recommendations for transfers but you have the option to submit three. How many letters are you submitting? Would it look bad if I didn’t submit any?
@JakeChi Yes since you have more than 30 credits highschool work won’t be looked at
@collegegoer101 I am concerned about this as well. I honestly have no idea what professor(s) to ask… I do not really feel comfortable asking any of them… They all seemed indifferent to me except 2-3 of them. I know I have one I could ask if I REAAAALLY had to, but I still am not comfortable asking her since I left off with her on an odd note.
Hi! I’m currently a freshman at a 4 yr school OOS, but I’m waiting another year to apply for financial reasons. I just wanted to follow so I could get advice for when I actually do apply. I feel like I could be a competitive candidate, but I was planning on applying with cinema and media studies as my first choice major and communications as my second major, but those are such hard schools to get into, I’m not really sure it will happen! :-??
Does anyone see this supplement ?
“For each college or university term (excluding summer) in which you were enrolled in less than four semester-unit courses or three quarter-unit courses, please provide a brief explanation as to why you were unable to enroll full time. (250 word limit)”
How should I answer this prompt if I have always been a full time student?
Don’t answer it or just put, “Does not apply, I have always been a full time student.”
anyone going to the transfer day on the 19th?
ty @CADREAMIN , btw is there any disadvantage in not reporting SAT/AP?
Hi, I am applying from OOS 4yrs state university.
My university does not offer anything like WRIT150. When I emailed USC while ago, they said they can waive it since i am coming from 4 yrs university.
But, on USC website they really stress that WRIT150 is requirement n its making me worried.
Can anyone confirm this?
Anybody applying for the human bio major in Dornsife? Does amount of people applying to a certain major affect chances?
Any SCA transfers?
I have a question about the common app application. So when it asks for your current or most recent courses does that include like spring 2017, summer 2017, fall 2017 and spring 2018? because i started the application during my fall semester and now im in the spring semester
@GxBearrr Include Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 courses
@Anco17 Thank you!
@swg3hnna I believe if you have close to 60 credits there is no point in submitting SAT scores, unless the scores are really strong. I definitely don’t think that you’ll have a disadvantage by not sending. However, if you have less credits, the score might be more important.
Hi everyone! I am applying as a junior level transfer for Iovine and Young Academy and Business Admin
Stats: i submitted my apps on december 1rst for IYA with only 27 credits and a 3.83 GPA but after the fall semester I now have 43 with a 3.9 GPA
Ecs: Interned for a documentary, worked a lot of different jobs to help my family out with money. Vice President of Film
Essays are good but probably wouldn’t wow you
I’d say my IYA supplements are pretty strong but I’m sure everyone else is too.
