Hi! Does anybody know when admission decisions were released last year for School of Dramatic Arts?
@actressgal2021 at my interview after my audition me Ramirez said that the transfers can call before they get their acceptance to see if they got accepted because he said how he knows that they release them late and that we may need to commit to another school I have been thinking about calling but I chickened out cause If I don’t get in I want to find out later.

Eons ago, I called to ask why my decision hadn’t been made. I think I called on June 2nd though, so I waited until after their deadline for that year, lol. Anyhow, just four days later I got my acceptance packet in the mail. Did my call work? Did they forget about me and my call reminded them I was still waiting? I’ll never know 
So I did call. I did receive my admission counselors contact information, however, I decided not to call him. Here is why: I was “politely informed” that I should be careful about trying to push the counselor into making a decision. It is definitely possible to receive a decision ahead of time, but it comes with a certain risk. I can’t imagine how annoying it must be for an admissions counselor to have a bunch of people call and ask about expediting their decision. Everyone wants to know as soon as possible. Perhaps he already made a decision, in which case there shouldn’t be any risk, but you wouldn’t know until after you make your case.

@actressgal2021 There’s really not much information for SDA on here, but I remember for 2016 there was someone who got an SGR on May 13th I think. So I’m guessing acceptances would come earlier than that? That’s the only thing I know about when decisions are made.

@joeyfreshwater my counselor just got back to me. Wasn’t a SGR! I’m content bc I do not want one.
OKAY, no joke I will venmo someone 10 dollars if they call and ask if the eligibility check for choice of study means anything.
@polololo Hey! You should check out Tasha Farsaci’s videos on YouTube. She transferred to USC from LMU and she explains her whole process in her vids. I’m currently trying to transfer from a private 4year to Annenberg, haven’t heard back yet. 
@redhair55 Okay, I have to admit… I want to transfer to USC just because I want to become friends with Tasha. Haha jokes aside, I came across her on Youtube. A lot of the USC Youtubers are really fun to watch!
just curious, is this anyone else’s second time applying? this my second time and wanna know if anyone is in the same boat! I have to say I’m less anxious compared to last year just because I went through it last year, but nevertheless still hopeful to become apart of the trojan family!!
It is my second time applying! I applied my senior year and now I am applying from a cc so I am hoping for the best. @xxanonxx

wait so we can call and ask if were already accepted or not? Is this only for BFA acting? Because I know they have already made their decisions for those because they make it for freshmen and transfers at once. Is it true that we can call and they’ll tell us? Because I’ll call and ask!
