Are you accepting admission? Already committed to Penn State

@peagles congrats!, did you turn in your senior year grades? Also, if so how long did it take to process your transcript and how long for a decision after you turned in your Senior grades? Thank You!

I have a 1420 SAT, what are my chances at a scholarship? I submitted my app in November but my high school transcript didn’t arrive till December. I haven’t been accepted yet so I’m a bit nervous that I haven’t heard anything from them, but I guess I shouldn’t be since I have Top 10 Knights. It’s just that I met a counselor at the Undergrad Admissions office, and she said scholarship funds tend to run out by February. Which was reassuring when I heard that back in Dec, but now that Jan is ending, idk if I should expect anything.

Any update on other deferred applicants? I’ve been deferred since November, with updated transcripts and scores sent in and processed about two (almost three) weeks ago with no update.

Nothing yet, I was deferred also. Still waiting. My updated semester grades were submitted Recently.

Deferred and still waiting. I think we’ll find out in March since FSU result just came out and UF result come out Feb 9. So more people will drop UCF and more space will become available. That’s what my guidance counselor told me.

My son got into FSU, still waiting on UCF, seems odd? UCF was his 1st choice, but that’s very much at risk now with them taking sooo long to give a decision. UF notifies in 2 weeks, his stats will likely get him in there as well. Called UCF, they said they still have 27,000 apps to review?

Update, got accepted!

How do you know you got BF I thought that application wasn’t finished until you have full year grades in June?

Update: I think I got accepted to Burnett Honors? I didn’t get any mail or email, but I logged into myHonors and saw “Accepted” next to App Decision!

Also, next to App Status it says “Immediate Admission” which I’m more curious about. I’m not a National Merit Scholar, Provost Scholar (so far), or anything else that would get an immediate admission.

Anyone know why it says that?

@iceelon21 , how did you get into myHonors? I received my acceptance letter but I was not given any kind of login information. Do you have to make an account?

@iceelon21 I’m not sure about the immediate admission, maybe high SAT/ACT scores? I was actually wondering if you could tell me what’s on the myHonors thing. I have been accepted but I’ve never been able to get myHonors to work. I know I can just call to have it set up but is there anything essential on there or is it just the honors application status?

@Ella582 @sewin2music The login to myHonors is the same as myUCF, but when I first tried, it told me I hadn’t submitted an application, even though I had. So I emailed the honors admissions office and someone enabled my account. Me and my friend got responses in less than 5 minutes, they’re so helpful!

Yeah, it’s pretty much just the application decision, date of application, etc. It was nice finding out without waiting for a letter though! (At least, I hope I actually did get in and that the site is accurate lol)

Tell me how it goes/what you guys see when you gain access!

Another question: Are we supposed to be able to see our scholarship offers in myUCF? Right now I’m clicking Undergrad Admissions > Scholarships, and it’s a totally blank page. Emailed undergrad admissions about it though, I’ll send updates.

@iceelon21 It’s supposed to be in there but I never showed up for me. If you get one it’ll show up under “to Do’s” Or if you go to the student center and scroll down to “undergraduate admissions” And click “scholarship status” It’ll be there!
