@jjay43 Same! I applied in early January and sent everything needed in besides my AP English Language and Composition score because I haven’t taken the test yet. I still haven’t heard back :(. Hopefully, we’ll hear our decisions soon! I’m so impatient.
@Rollercoasterkid2000 It is definitely taking some time, please keep me updated if you hear anything back! Good Luck!
@jjay43 Thanks!! And good luck to you too!
Has anyone who was deferred got Accepted or rejected yet???
My daughter applied on Nov 20 for summer 2018, and is deferred. The admissions office states there is no timeline for when they will make a decision due to rolling admissions. I do know that the cut off for applying for the summer is March 1st, so hopefully we will hear something soon.
Has anyone heard from ucf recently?
Just got a Peagus Bronze scholarship from UCF. So I guess other stuff is in consideration besides just SAT. Does anyone know how long it takes until the paper comes with the exact dollar amount?
So earlier I sent an email about my situation with residency and not being considered for a scholarship. I just got a reply saying they gave me one! I just have to wait for a letter saying what it is. V grateful and curious
@iceelon21 I also got a email, you have to wait 24 hours before seeing it on My.Ucf. I am just happy they did not run out of funding.
@DarkFlameCorn That’s great! On myUCF it would it be under application status right?
@iceelon21 yea. Around undergrad status at the bottom of the page.
@DarkFlameCorn I actually found it, I got the bronze scholarship
@iceelon21 Pretty sure they are about to run out of funding cause your SAT is way up there and they only gave you a bronze.
I just got the Bronze scholarship with a 1350 SAT and 29 ACT.
Has anyone who applied for the summer and was deferred heard back yet? Since the cut off date for applying is in a few days, I am hoping they will be able to make admissions decisions very soon. Good luck to anyone waiting.
@DarkFlameCorn Yeah, currently repressing the saltiness
@Djg1220 Should be March since the deadline is soon. Just keep waiting.
@DarkFlameCorn and @iceelon21 , my residency has been updated for about 2 weeks and still no scholarship. 1500 SAT, 3.91 UW GPA, 4.85 W GPA, got into Burnett Honors within a week of applying. I’m going to be pretty salty if they say they ran out of funding or they are only giving me Bronze.
I just found out today that my daughter is wait listed, you either accept to be wait listed or you decline. If she decides to wait, she won’t know if she’s in until May 1st-May 31st.
UCF just release the financial aid offer for me and I have some questions. Federal Work Study is money you have to work for right? Would I apply for a job or would they already set me up? Also for the direct subsidized loan can I take out that loan as a safely net but “pay” it back at the end of the year if I did not use it?. My thought process is since subsidized does not have interest until your graduation I can just take the loan and pay it back?
