Hi there,
Yes I have her for my counselor as well. Christine seems to be lacking in communication and took a while to respond to me as well

If I got a 4.0 for the fall and am on TTP and have completed my pre requisites through classes and AP scores, will I get my decision in March?
@jj1999 TTP applicants are much more likely to hear back in the first wave of decisions in late March or early April than other applicants. It is not guaranteed that you will hear back by then though.
@vegastransfer i didnt really mention any factors that caused my grades to dip… the only thing i said was that i was unhappy at UCSD which is why i happened to transfer to LACC… shoot… missed an opportunity to say something… is there anyway else i can notify them of such events? thanks for your reply!
@milekoorb I would try contacting your counselor and ask them if it is possible for you to submit a letter of explanation as to why your grades slipped. I know that USC allows for those of us with GEDs to submit a letter of explanation. I don’t know if they’ll allow it in your case, but it is worth a shot. I wish you luck!
if i have a 4.0 and i completed all my GE’s does it mean i have a good chance of getting into marshall
I have a 4.0 from Cal Poly SLO engineering and 1510 SAT but I am not TTP so I’m nervous because I’m applying to a competitive major RIP
HEY GUYS. I have a question. So I applied to USC as a Transfer. I currently attend NYU. I applied to DLAS as a Philosophy, Politics and Law major. My GPA is a 3.711. Do you think, transferring from NYU, would better my chances at being admitted??
How competitive is CS + Business?
YOOOo
@Faexpopuli One of the most competitive majors in engineering because of demand, comparable to CS. But frankly, Viterbi is just plain competitive.
Hi, does anybody know how merit scholarships work for transfers??? Also when you would be notified if you qualify
There are 40 transfer scholarships for 1/4 tuition (about 13k), you hear by June 1st.
@Faexpopuli @CADREAMIN when I went to orientation and we were separated into our schools for registering, CS was probably half the room
My non-custodial parent won’t fill out the CSS Profile/Forms so I won’t be able to get financial aid from USC. That doesn’t affect my admission decision, right?
@taki123 Financial aid is done entirely separate from admissions, so it won’t hinder your chances of being accepted. I had to keep pestering my noncustodial parent in order for her to fill out the CSS Profile. If they won’t fill it out, submit a noncustodial waiver form (found in the FAST portal) and hope for the best. It’s unlikely to be approved, but it does not hurt to try.
@taki123 USC is need blind so what you can or cannot pay doesn’t affect your admissions decision.
When does admissions/our application status have to receive our transcripts by? One of mine is still “awaiting”
Hi! My noncustodial parent won’t fill out the CSS profile so I submitted a noncustodial waiver form. Does anyone know how long it takes for USC to review it and how I will know if its accepted or not?
So I sent my transcript electronically online. It’s been two weeks since I sent it, but they still say they didn’t receive my transcript yet. But when I go to my community college website to check my order status, it says that my transcript has already been received by the recipient. I don’t know what to do. Should I call the admissions?
