Congratulations to all accepted, and good luck to those of you awaiting your letters! I applied on November 1 because my school requires two weeks advance notice for transcript requests, and I received my letter of acceptance today. I wasn’t expecting to know until December 15! To future applicants, I would definitely recommend applying early, as they offer spots on a rolling basis, making it easier to get in and get scholarships if you apply in advance of the EA deadline. Best of luck!
[/ul]

@bengalmombengal I know the rep for MN and a lot of other midwestern states didn’t begin looking at applications until this last weekend, so I think it depends a lot on each individual rep.

From reading this thread, it sure sounds as if a lot of impressive students have applied to Tulane and have already been admitted. Congrats to all who got good news (parents, too!) and congrats to Tulane for not only attracting such strong candidates but also for giving them their admission decisions so early to help take some stress out of senior year. Tulane makes the crazy admission process a little saner than usual.

Not if you are still waiting to hear.

@suzy100 I’m sure it’s stressful to keep waiting, especially as the news trickles in for others. But at least you’ll have a verdict well before students typically hear from colleges. Best of luck (and indeed there IS some luck involved in this crazy process).
