I am dumb - thank you. I just went to Amazon like the postal worker told me - can’t believe I didn’t even think about them having a website - and obviously she didn’t either. Really appreciate you posting and sorry to derail this very helpful thread.
My only contribution for a stocking stuffer was I went on Esty and found each of my college freshman a fun ornament that represents where they are going to college - a ear of corn for one and a taxi for the other.
Costco had some $3 tshirts in the men’s department the other day and 2 packs of tank tops for $3. I bought a few and plan to add them to my kids stockings. They only had Small, which is their size.
They also had a ultra soft pullover hoody. I bought one for D—XS, her size.
@greenbutton — can you tell my why the Poppette Lollipops are worth such a premium price of about $3 apiece? I’m very curious as I’ve never had one. I’m seriously curious and also what vendor do you recommend? Thanks.
That’s the same question I had when I bought them (directly from their website). They come on super sturdy longgggg sticks, are beautiful to look at, taste deeply flavored with no artifical tones or metallic taste, and last forever. You couldn’t finish one in one sitting if you tried. The packaging is equally upscale. They are reliably gluten free, which matters to us.
Certainly not the sort of thing you’d buy on a regular basis, but very handy for the office gift exchange, etc. I bought a set and divided them amongst stockings and everyone really liked them.
My friends daughter owns a succulent business if you’re still looking for succulent stuff. She makes really neat things. I believe it’s called In Succulent Love.
Wow—after the $10 flat rate postage, price rises to about $4 per lollipop! Maybe we will try it. Sounds like a fun treat and definitely something different.
Yup, postage for everything these days is just through the roof. Makes me rethink a great many small purchases that just don’t make financial sense when shipping is considered!
A couple of years ago, pre-COVID, my daughter and I visited a discount mall outside Niagara Falls and did a bunch of our Christmas shopping there. One of the shops we stumbled upon was Saje, a Canadian company that makes essential oils and other wellness products (maybe it’s well-known in the US, I’m not sure). That time, my daughter bought a diffuser and some oils for her brother, and it seems he really liked the gift, as when he was recently down with a cold, he asked if he could get some more of those oils. I looked for their website this afternoon and found a bunch of goodies for the stockings - oils, soaps, cocoa lip balm, body wash, all nicely packaged and not too pricey (plus 15% off for first order). Thanks to this thread, things are coming along nicely, although a month ago I had no ideas at all. I also ordered two largish squishmallows (which I had never heard of) for safety’s sake, and they will take up any space that might remain!
Just bought a few of the Peeps eye glass cleaners to put into the stockings. Also got a couple of the Keysmart key organizers - S and D usually have quite a few keys, hopefully, this will help keep it organized.
If anyone is looking for good looking mid priced sunglasses for someone’s stocking try Blenders:
They are a local San Diego company and H and I went to their store on Saturday since they had a 30% off sale and we found some great glasses for stockings. Both of my girls have asked for their ski goggles for Christmas.
