I always buy bombas when they are on gmadeals. They do charge shipping, something that’s been mentioned every time I’ve posted about the deal in the past.
I love my bombas, and they have held up really well. I also like their mission.

Just bought some for both DH and myself. Thanks for sharing!!
Well, there’s this disc you can discretely dip into your drink to see if there are drugs in it. It’s $5 per disk or $35 for a starter pack with medallion.
I’m getting ornaments that commemorate an event in the recipient’s past year. So my husband, who survived a bike crash solely because of his helmet is getting a glittery bike helmet ornament. My 22 year old, who won a goldfish at the county fair 9 years ago is getting a goldfish ornament, as the fish (finally) died the day before he left for school. We are not sad, but it marks the end of an era.
Anyway, it is perhaps an eccentric idea, but this company has hundreds of top quality weirdly specific ornaments for sale:
We do that too!
I tuck all sorts of doo dads into our ornament boxes. (Old keychains with kiddo photos, old ski passes and student ids etc, hand knit kiddo mittens). It’s fun to look at them while putting up the tree, and some are hangable with a hook. Really looking forward to the holiday when I can toss one of our cloth masks in there! Alas, still needing them this winter….
Thanks for the link! I ordered 4 sets of these bowls (one for me and one for each of the kids). They arrived today and they’re great! They stack beautifully, the grip is perfect, they’re dishwasher safe, and there’s a rubberized section on the bottom so that they don’t slide around when mixing. They’re still on sale, FYI. Also, for those who might wonder - they’re made in China.
I got my bowls yesterday too. Came in a HUGE box, easily twice as big as it needed to be. They were a little smaller than I thought, but that’s probably a good thing. For $8, I’m happy.
I’m also happy to have started shopping. One positive for me during covid was I stopped shopping and haven’t missed it much at all, but I hope to get whatever I need for Christmas a little at a time.
Another Deals and Steals from GMA3…tieless shoelaces.
I just threaded my black sneakers with black elastic (which I had bought to make cloth masks). It works perfectly and my shoelaces no longer need to be tied and untied (did melt ends of elastic with match do it won’t unravel). There’s a lot of elastic left, so can lace many more shoes. (Also have other colors.)
D is old school and takes notes with a notebook and pencil, rather than her laptop. I got her one of these last year, which she loved, and this year she is getting more lead and eraser refills plus I am ordering an extra pencil just in case. You advance the lead by shaking it and it comes in a few pastel colors.
For Costco shoppers - our Costco had big packages of Burt’s Bees lip stuff. They also had EOS lip stuff, and those were on sale.
I just ordered the Dr. Bronner’s Naked Organic Lip Balm for stocking stuffers from Amazon. I think it was $18 for 6 tubes. I especially like this when we are skiing and in cold climates.
We have some of these fabric cup cozies for mugs tucked away for the gradschoolkids who are in the NE this winter! Lots of patterns available, but I’m partial to the top one:
They look really cute! Where did you find refills? I only see eraser refills on that website
I asked D for ideas for her husband yesterday and she said she would think about it. She volunteered that she wanted some gardening gloves, so I will work on finding those.
I ended up getting Pentel lead refills at Staples. They had packs of 90 for $5, you just have to make sure to get the right size lead.
@showmom858, Thank you! Just ordered those too.
I am in love with these drunk cat matches!
Thank you, @collegemom3717 ! I ordered one of the cat and books. Purrfect for my daughter.
@2VU0609 - as a gardener, I like the nitrile coated gloves the best. They aren’t too bulky and they wash up nice. I usually get them from ebay.
