Oh yes, with your kind instruction, i figured she was in “round 4” also. The notes about “next round dates” was included in the email for audition details, which can be retrieved in the inbox of your Acceptd account. Wish they’ll both join the final round and be accepted together!!
Marymount Manhattan - I know they have fairly quick turnaround but how soon are people hearing? D’s audition was on Sat. 1/29. Thanks!
That would be awesome!! I wish nothing but the best for these kids!!!
I’m so grateful you said something because we never received such an email in accepted. So it’s helpful for us to get an idea for timeframe! Each day feels like a year in our land these days!
@Wonderbread-Mom I am interested in knowing this too, my daughter auditions this Saturday at Marymount. Good luck to your D.
Last year it was 2-3 weeks after auditions. Email to check portal.
Hi all! So I’m not a parent (currently an auditioning theatre kid!) but I do have a question. I recently applied to Montclair’s BFA Acting program, and I reached out politely asking about the audition results. They told me I would hear soon. Is this generally a good thing, and, from experience, how long does “soon” usually mean? Very nervous!
Kiddo auditioned 1/15 and heard 1/26 here. BAL!
today! a friend auditioned on the 29th for mmc and heard today!
hello all! would someone like to start a new thread for Artistic Acceptances! we have now moved beyond the prescreen results! thanks! if no one else wants to i can work on this tomorrow!
Thank you very much for your thoughtful lead
This is the thread for beginning to discuss artistic acceptances (and rejections).
We can only hope and pray that offers begin to roll in.
re: PACE in person auditions at Unifieds (BFA Acting). After monologue and scene work, PACE asked about 1/2 the kids to stay for additional audition activity. Should we assume a non-invitation means = no longer under consideration? Thanks!
Our experience was with the in person Pace audition at Unifieds was in 2020 where they combined the BFA Acting/BFA FTVC and BA Acting/Directing auditions into one. The man running the audition (admissions guy, not director of one of the programs) told the group that if they were there for BFA Acting and did not get on that callback list they could consider it a “No Thank you”. However, he also said that BFA FTVC and BA Acting did not always choose to add call backs to that list and you still could get accepted into those programs without being on that call back list. I do know that FTVC has a new director this year, so things may have changed for them.
Thanks so much.
Heard from cal arts today about callbacks! Finally! That one was a long one!
Congratulations!!
Thanks!
Anyone else still waiting on prescreen results from Calarts?
UCLA invited my daughter today to schedule and attend a live interview for Acting. It’s one of her top three choices and she is elated!
