haha, I love us. We're all trying to make up random games for distraction....

Apparently, we're failing :D

Well, with decisions out so soon, you can't blame us!! :P

Does it involve dice?

NO dice ... 17

I'll join in...is it a board game?

19... not a person
18... doesn't involve cards
17... doesn't involve dice
16... isn't a board game

whyyyyy are there almost 80 people applying from CC

='(

can we play this game in a casino?

is this a computer/video game?

is 80 people more than usual rememberme? what was last years?

well, keep in mind that there are around 4000 people in total applying.

19... not a person
18... doesn't involve cards
17... doesn't involve dice
16... isn't a board game
15... technically, yes you can play it in a casino
14... yes it is a computer game

I mean, it's just depressing knowing that we're all up against each other. Everyone's so strong....

The rest of the pool is probably just as good =

Anyone remember Chillaxin last year?

She was the strongest candidate I've ever read about at CC and she got rejected. (And I've been here for a whillle)

She's at Harvard now though.

I've got it.....CoD 4!

YAY! COD4 ftw MY l33tneSS PWN U NOOBS
alright. i thought people would get it the first guess

I know a guy who got rejected from MIT but got preferred letters from Stanford and Yale. If you get accepted, you don't know why. If you get rejected, you don't know why. Whatever is, is.

I was about to throw in Hangman, but hey!

I have to share this video, I was procrastinating and ended up on Youtube.. it's amazing, hope it won't distract you guys too much. Procrastination is a disease, it's contagious. :/

@rememberme: Seriously...I heard a rumor that Stanford has quotas for some high schools...does anyone know if this is true?

Cause everyone at my school has been talking about it.

Well no one from my school's been accepted to Stanford in like 10 years =/

There are no set quotas. It's not like Stanford is going to say, "hey, let's take exactly 3 kids from that school." However, they probably will set a limit as to how many kids they want from each area. It's subtle wording; a college, I'm assuming, may tell applicants one thing and spin it to mean another. It's true there aren't any quotas, but they don't want too many students from one particular school either.

For example, TJ High School, one of the extremely competitive magnet schools, sends dozens of kids to the very top schools every year. The ones who don't get in aren't necessarily weak; they just don't stand out compared to the rest of their classmates. I'm guessing they would have a higher chance at their local public, where they'd be better than most of the students. That's why you see weaker kids get in over stronger kids. It's all about using the resources you were provided with.

2 days yo!
