2130 to 2400 in 12 Weeks

Hi guys,
So I started an SAT prep class three weeks ago with a 2060 (in the class) and I now have a 2130. I am aiming for a 2400, I will be using direct hits and 2,000 other words from the class, tons of practice tests that the class provides and getting the blue book pretty soon (in the next few weeks). Is it possible to go up to a 2400 in the next 12 weeks? I KNOW I can get an 800 in math, because i usually make dumb mistakes. And I just have a few more rules for writing and it's up to an 800 in that, so most of my review will be focused on vocab and CR review. Possible?

Yes. I think it is possible. Here’s my situation. In jan i took the SAT but had to cancel due to a proctor timing problem that messed me up. I had a whole lot of crap in Feb and took it with very little studying in between in March. I got a 2130.

I didn’t do anything since then. No SAT whatsoever. I studied for AP testing and SAT2s. Thats it.

Three weeks ago, I took a test. I got a 2280. Remember, no studying whatsoever in between.

Two weeks ago, after going over maybe 100 direct hits words, I took a second test. 2350.

Today, I took a test with about 150 words memorized. I didn’t really feel up to it and didnt finish some sections. I got a 2250 with my lowest math score since like november ■■■■■. Btw, I accidentally had my AC on full blast. I was shivering when taking it lool

Honestly in my case I really feel I am capable of 2350+. Making a claim that you want a 2400 is kind of audacious. Its very difficult and a lot haa to do with luck. From my experience, I say its fully possible to go to a 2350+ in 12 weeks. Just study carefully and efficiently. Although I didn’t study persay, I guess I subliminally worked on my comprehension skills while doing all of that studying.

Good luck. And remember, 2130-2350+ (possibly 2400) is fully possible.

I agree, trying to guarantee yourself a 2400 is pretty much impossible. You can’t completely eliminate the chances of making any silly mistakes on the actual thing, and there are countless other factors that you can’t account for in your preparation. Is it possible to pretty much guarantee 2300+, 2350+ if you’re scoring in that range at home. Remember, scores in the mid to upper 2300’s are pretty much identical to a perfect score in a college admission officer’s eyes. Nevertheless, that 4 in the hundred’s place definitely looks nice :)

^1400 :d .

What do you mean 1400?

“4 in the hundredth place” also implies score of 1400!
