Hi, I was wondering if it were feasible to get between 2300 and 2400 if I studied for the SAT in November or December whether or not that would be enough time to raise my projected SAT score from the PSAT (1990) to at least a 2350. I know this is probably a stretch- a really far stretch.

Unless the SAT has changed significantly in the last four years, the SAT is largely dependent on quick mathematics computational skills and solid critical reading and vocabulary. At least it was to me. So if you work on getting problems solved (and not tripping up at their tricks) and focus on your vocab + crit reading, you’ll improve your score, though I don’t know if you’ll bump it up to 2350.

Keep in mind a lot of colleges superscore. I superscored to a 2400, whereas both times my true SAT score was only in the mid 2200s.

Thank you, this helps alot! I was afraid that it wouldn’t really help.

I had a 187 PSAT last october. I started studying at the beginning of this summer and am now at 2200-2300. It really depends on how much work you put in.
