22 Dead in Virginia Tech Shooting

I don't understand why this would happen. I can't comprehend this disaster or anything. They're college students, for Christ's sake -- they had the rest of their lives ahead of them.

If I prayed, my prayers would be with them.

Days like this make me wanna walk around with a hand gun at all times...

Just looked at the videos on Youtube and read some comments. There were a lot of racist remarks about Asians, especially South Koreans because the shooter came from South Korea. It boggles my mind how people can associate this act, an anomaly, with a race.

At this point we can only hope that ignorant racists who associate this with Asians don't take "revenge" on some innocent person.

It's too easy to dismiss this guy/killer as a "psychopath" - unfortunately, this confluence of being a social misfit/outcast, depression, build-up of anger and easy access to guns is all too common.

One thing that the national press seems to have missed is that this guy was predominantly raised in the US - he witnessed and probably was influenced by Columbine and the other school shootings.

It's disgusting how when White murderers like Whitman, Manson, McVeigh, Klebold, or Harris commit their crimes, people want to know why?

But when it's a non-White murderer, the only thing that matters is WHO?

That being said, let the racial implications come later, and for now, let's just mourn the deceased.

Preposterous.
You know, I didn't think event such as these happen in college too.
It will be engraved in my mind forever. Whenever I will go to my class, I will have my eyes set on the door, checking to see if anyone is there. Anyone there to savagely take my life, or life of my friends.

he plays counter strike (so do i)
