220 PSAT, want tips for extra boost on January SAT, please help!

I'm a junior, taking the January 23rd SAT. I got a 220 on my most recent PSAT: CR - 77, M - 73, W - 70. I'm looking for some tips to bump up my score just that extra bit. I don't think math will be any trouble -- I got an 80 on the math section of last year's PSAT, and I got an 800 on the Math II SAT II. So basically, my troubles lie in critical reading and writing. I've got the Blue Book already, and I'm just wondering any tips on those sections for the SAT.

With regards to general test-taking skills, I think I'm fine, having taken 3 PSATs, 2 AP exams, and both the SAT and ACT in middle school.

Also, I know that College Board says that PSAT scores multiplied by 10 should be within 30 points of actual SAT scores; how accurate does this tend to be?

Thanks in advance for the help!

That equivalence is best treated as a very rough estimate.

Alright, thanks. It seems like the PSAT is much more affected by getting a few wrong, and just seems more random overall. Any specific details as to the differences between PSAT and SAT, other than the length and the essay, would be greatly appreciated.

This is essentially the extent of the differences. You may hear from some that the Math section is easier or that it is more restrictive in the material it tests, but I have not found this.
