Curious where the high stat kids got in this year. If your stats were 2350 or 35+, 3.9 UW +, would you mind letting us know?

Those comments are patently false.
I think it was an observation from a student who has been studying the numbers, or maybe justifying? I can try to dig them up, but feel free to delete this thread, not trying to stir the pot.
No need to delete but you’re drawing false conclusions. The sample (a bunch of random posts on this site) in no way capture anywhere near the entirety of the accepted students. Simply go to any college’s Common Data set and you’ll see the dispersion in SAT/ACT scores. Reading extreme anecdotes here does not a firm basis for conclusions make.
There are many factors and scores are just one. General wisdom says that unhooked candidates need to be in 75th percentile and higher, and at some schools this translates to 2350+ or even 2400. But as you say, extreme anecdotes are not cause for a good conclusion.
