23rd ACT

haha sorry for misleading, students in IL took their ACT on 4/23 and the next day work keys test which i found insulting to my intelligence.

Ex. Question.(work keys test) Item costs $20 dollars, customer gives you $8.50 dollars. How much change should you give back to the customer?

That and:
If it costs 1.50 per shirt for dry cleaning and a costumer gives you 8 shirts. How much would the bill be?

Haha, no this was the best: (roughly remembered)

Which student is not following proper lab procedures to test hardness of glass?

A) Amy is taking careful notes
B) Billy is recording which rocks scratch the glass
C) Daniel forgot to put her safety goggles on
D) John is taking careful measurements

I literally cracked up when i saw this question

haha yeh that goggles question cracked me up. I'll be mad if I didn't get a perfect on the math section for the work keys.

So anyone know when we can view our scores online for the Illinois 23rd ACT?

ohhhh. was it harder than the ACT on the 12th?

The one about which way to ethically test a spacesuit got me...

this ACT was pretty hard but it was my first time so i can't really say. In my school district (i don't live in illinois) we also take the ACT on 23rd its mandatory

I thought it was a lot harder. I fudged up the science section majorly. Guessed on like 10 of them. I don't know what happened to me. :P

^haha i got the ethical one wrong!!!

I didn't read the word ethical, and i just thought it said best way.

So I said a human!

"haha sorry for misleading, students in IL took their ACT on 4/23 and the next day work keys test which i found insulting to my intelligence."

Wow, I misunderstood yet again! I thought this was just a joke thread, like that there really wasn't a 4/23 ACT but you guys just made that up to freak people out! Lol! I am going to leave this thread now... ;)
