At least that's how I felt. I got a 33 on M first act and a 34 on the 2nd.
On this one, I'm seriously hoping for a 32 with a kind curve.

The other sections were not bad. English was cake as usual, reading was not bad (prose fiction very easy, but social science surprisingly challenging), and science is the bane of my existence, although I actually think I did decent this time (~30).

Any thoughts on this test? So a hard test means a more lenient curve right?

I’m Asian, very good at math, but the math was so hard on that June test. I’ve only taken Algebra I and Geometry, so I’m hoping my scores in math will be better next school year when I take Algebra II and Advanced Algebra.

Based on the 5 “Real ACT” math tests I’ve taken from the red book and the ACT website, I thought the math in June was a weird and difficult one too. I was expecting a lot more linear algebra stuff, more simple SOHCAHTOA trig, averages, etc…instead there was just a bunch of more nebulous and difficult stuff. I’m almost positive I’m going to retake the ACT now after studying more math and also hope that the next one I take is a little more forgiving!

I’m not Asian, and don’t consider myself very good at math, but I didn’t find this to be too hard. I had like 9 check marks (which is how I denote to go back to a problem that confused me) and I figured out all of them, and never had to guess. From checking the forum, I know that I got two wrong, but I have been correct for everything else. I don’t think I got a 36 or anything, but a 34 for me on this one is perfectly reasonable.
