u disgust me

Yea! Strive for perfection! I'm trying for the same thing... but I'm waiting till October06 due to laziness... :p

Will probably get BlueBook this summer...

smder99, dude I would cheat in the sense that I would take any extra time I had by applying for aid, but I am obviously NOT doing that

What Im doing is analogous to a bodybuilder who just lifts weights and takes Protein to get where he wants (LOL not sure if any of you are into bodybuilding, but ifyou are you'll know what I mean..)

Im doing this the natural way of Coming home from school, giving homework second priority & doing review from the blue book

that 2400 is mine

Good luck prism.

I should have gotten the blue book too but I got the PR 11. Hopefully it will help.

You guys are so smart.

The average SAT at my school is probably going to be like about 1800(?) this year. The average for the old SAT score was about 1030.

I got a 168 on my PSAT. :(

I plan to study hardcore this summer. If you get a 2300+ at my school, the principle will mention your name on the morning announcement.

lol principle mentioning your name was cool back in 3rd grade

It's "principal".

2400 ? To me, it is beyond the wildest dream, but PRiSM92289 do your utmost and you will get what you deserve. Good luck, man ;)

Hahaha at posts 25-27

Hehe, me too.

PRISM, you can SO do it, i have faith in you. In fact we all can do it, it's just that sometimes we feel like we "can't" when in fact we CAN but we're too WEAK.

It's all in the mental willpower.
The only reason for failure = you don't have enough.
Just stop being a pansy and rape that exam already ;)

Also, along with the tea tips,
fort minor's REMEMBER song is really good for motivation. I mean, for everything, i never get sick of it.
this is 10% luck
20% skill
15% concentrated power of will
5% pleasure
50% pain
and 100% reason to remember the NAME (score)

WHEN YOU GET THAT 2400, you can tell everyone else who didn't believe in you to shove it =)

ppl tell me to study with the bluebook, but you guys mean the practice tests, right? what else is there to see?

the book has only the ones ive already done with last year's blue book and the online course. what do you guys exactly mean by 'study' the blue book?

yeah, study it religiously...i put the BB under my pillow every night...i've heard it's good luck... :)

^ dude im doing that .. seriously

MORE TIPS FOR PEOPLE ON THE QUEST FOR A 2400:

if you take AP classes (all APs I believe are over) tear out pages of the blue book & do problems in class, this will be hard to do as the rest of the class will be watching movies, but you got to stick it to the man ie: your self

to get my self pumped I usually freak out and throw a tantrum right before I start to study, almost like im about to do a pre workout warm up (another bodybuilding reference) and I feel my blood flow increase

sleep with the SAT book under your bed

the idea is to eat, sleep, breath, talk SAT.

btw I suggest doing workouts before you do review so you get the endomorphins to help you out (big rush)

ughh too much to do:

my goals for this weekend: Master the CR sect.

That just means LOTS of repition for the Passage reading but Grammatix has a really good process for that

SARORAH look familar

haha thats awesome, i never saw the video for it until now.
great song, great song.
prism hang in there, not even 2 weeks left. :)

This weekend I plan to practice esssays relentlessly. If I can do that, I know I can get 2300+ because I'll just have to raise math and writing by 50 points each.

50 Points Each Is Only A Matter Of Getting 2~3 Questions Correct! U Can Do It

I've Been Studying The Past Month With The Blue Book - My Critical Reading Section Has Improved Seriously But Math And Writing Went Down...hahaha...

What A Killer - But Seriously Is Everyone Here Nerds Or Genius'....i Mean To Get Over A 2000 Is Hard!!!!

Update:

Just took took 3 CR sections over Friday & today..which is basically the enitre CR part of a test. 2 wrong. Still not acceptable, but guarentees me atleast a 750, so I have to get those 2 right and I have the 800 in CR. I highly reccomend Grammatix, despite its supposed short comings..its really good for CR

(remember Jan06 I got 7 wrong and more skippd if I remember correctly, so this is an improvement)

Actually, you're probably totally capable of 800 if you can miss only 2. Not only is 65/67 raw score curvable to 800, but there's a chance that with your current skill level you might get 'lucky' and get questions that you can answer correctly 100% of the time. I missed 3 on the CR section of April so I'm sure I can miss less . . . but I'm not going to bother trying to improve CR, I'll work on keeping my skill where it is so I can focus more on writing and math.

im also shooting for the perfect score this june. i already have a 2250 from april without much preparation, so ill study and practice over the next two weeks and see how it pays off.
