Well I got a 25 on the ACT (took it once - dec 2009)

English - 29
Reading - 23
Math - 28
Science - 21
Com. English and Writing - 28

Essay was a 9.

Now my SAT (the third time taking it) was a 1230/1780.

Math - 650
Reading - 580
Writing - 550

So on the common app they have spots for the ACT and the SAT, should I put both or which ever one is better?

I think the SAT score might be slighty better than the ACT score, but I don't know, any suggestions?

It depends on the school(s) your applying to, as some for SAT require SAT II’s.

well they require either an act or a sat, but not both…i CAN send them both…but idk if i want to

According to the SAT/ACT concordance table on the College Board’s web site:

ACT 25 = SAT 1150
SAT 1230 = ACT 27+

So your SAT scores come out a bit higher. Still, I wonder if the College Board rigs this chart a little to their favor. After all, you’ll pay 50 cents more for each SAT score you send compared to sending an ACT score.

so i guess the SAT score is better…so ill send that

BUT would sending the 25 ACT score DECREASE my chances at admission if i send it?

or should i just leave the ACT out and just use the SAt?
