I'm on to them because the conspiracy is obvious and they threw in Harvard and Stanford just to try and look balanced. After launching a full investigation of their methodology, I think we ought to evaluate the PA scores of the schools that have been mentioned and see if this is more evidence of the academic elites spreading more nonsense and misinformation.</p>

<p>And given the source of the "study," I'm surprised that they didn't mention how scary the Rockets of the University of Toledo really, truly are....</p>

<p>I thought the article was hilarious. It was making fun of the actual costumes, not the idea of the mascot itself, as Hanna pointed out.</p>

<p>Yea, this was a great start, even if we could and will quibble over a Demon Deacon (talk about oxy-morons ...sorta like jumbo shrimp or...) and whether the banana slug merits top 10 consideration. I concur with the Ohio State buckeye being bad, and defined by Webster as "a hairless nut of little or no value." (Webster went to Penn State, you know. :confused::cool:)</p>

<p>But I was disappointed that the jackass from Army wasn't there, or the brass-balled billy goat of Navy, or the Student Prince of Heidelberg (what the heck is a "STUDENT PRINCE" anyways?!) or the best of all ... the BIG RED TURKEY BUZZARD of Denison University! Now that's a critter that'll strike fear in the hearts of all Kenyon LORDS (you gotta be pretty self-important to name your mascot after God). Maybe the most appropo is Slippery Rock, where a great many alums have been referred to as such ...dumb as "THE ROCK." </p>

<p>btw, my wife'd best not read this one or I'm, well like Alabama ...Roll Tide roll, round the bowl, and down the hole ...</p>
