250 point increase??

So on the PSAT I scored a 72 Math, 68 reading, 51 writing. (191)

What should my study plan be for a

750 Math, 720 Reading, 700 Writing (2170) on the January SAT?

How should I study to get at least a 700 on writing?

I'm pretty confident on math, but I will probably brush up my math skills. (Maybe 1 hr a day)

On critical reading, I will probably do a couple sections of critical reading, and learn around 500 more words. (1 hr a day)

I'm just totally lost on writing. For some reason I just don't seem to have a good grasp of the multiple choice sections. I'm following the discussion of getting a 12 essay in 10 days, so I guess that's how I'm going to get a good essay score, but I'm lost on multiple choice. Any tips are appreciated

You need to go over the common types of errors that appear in the writing multiple choice section. Parallel structure, pronoun antecedent error, verb noun agreement, idioms, verb tense etc. refer to the spark notes website for SAT preparation.

Essays sometimes come down to luck. I took the SAT thrice, and scored a 8, 12, 10 on the Essay section. Prepare some examples you can use in your essays, from literature, history, personal experiences etc. For the other writing sections, know your grammar rules very well, and do one or two practices each day. The thing with the SAT is that so long as you practice over and over again, you will make astonishing improvements. I went from a 1300 on my first mock to 2300 in 7-8 months. When close to the test date, remember to sit a few full length tests, because you do get tired and lose focus towards the end.
