I have a 4.0 GPA at my community college.
I won a scholarship to take an upper division Literature course at UCSC over the summer which I completed with an A-
Which brought my overall GPA down to 3.97
I have also presented historical research at Stanford for the Bay Honors Symposium

I have a lot of units to complete before the end of spring and I am concurrently enrolled in UC Berkeley Extension to pick up extra units during the winter.
Once I do I will have completed Anth 1, 2 and 3 (Major Prereqs for Transfer students) plus a full IGETC.
But as I understand Cal will make their decision based on completed coursework, and planned coursework at this point, and as long as I remain in good standing, an acceptance decision is final.

Other factors for consideration:
When I started community college I was out of school for 7 years during which time I worked and took care of a sick friend and supported us both for 3 years due to a botched hernia surgery. I am hard of hearing and was diagnosed with ADHD in primary school, althought I’m not sure I have it. The hearing loss is permanent though. Also I took 12 or more units each semester while working full time to get to my current level.
I know Anth is not an impacted major
