27 ACT and applying to Stanford?

Thanks to all of you!
I will still apply. However, I don’t expect an acceptance with a full ride handed to me. I’m going to apply just to save myself any “what ifs” after this whole application process.

Retake in December. A 29 (which you said is your superscore) won’t kill your chances, but everything else will have to be pretty amazing. URM does help, though. Retaking and raising your score can only help, so I strongly recommend doing so.

Math 2 will also help. Try raising your score even more than 720. An 800 will go a long way to alleviate the 24 in ACT math (however, since you’ve taken the ACT 3 times, is the 24 the highest you’ve ever gotten?)

I’ll try to retake. I want to focus on my subject tests though because some of my schools require them. Thanks guys! And good luck to all

I am a junior. my SAT is 2250. ACT is on the low side 31. Should I retake the ACT? Stanford requires you to submit all test. Another question I will have around 11 APs. So far all 4’s and 5’s. Varsity sports. Any chance for me? I am sure all applying to Stanford have same qualifications. Any advice would help.

This thread is over two years old, it’d probably be better for you to make an individual thread. Your SAT is good enough, if you’d like to aim for 2300+ or 33+ then yeah go for it, but it probably won’t be the factor that gets you accepted or rejected. You have good stats, you definitely have a shot.

Did neuroscience1234 get in? Just curious after reading his/her posts :)
