28 AP Tests

I once saw a CB document that said that one student took 28 AP tests in 4 years. That person either retook some tests or was really good at foreign languages.

pretty amazing. There’s 26 non-language tests, btw. But yeh he/she must have been very skilled.

Well, we don’t know anything about the scores, but that’s still pretty impressive.

There are? I count:
Calc AB

Someone took 18 AP tests last year
4 students, over 2007-2010, took 24 exams. I think the 28er was in a different report.

these students are usually the state scholars, i believe some have posted here with 20+ AP exams, most are multi lingual fwiw.

edit: wow, cool link. i’ve never seen that before.

Yeah; I feel so inferior now, since I’m only going to take 20-21 exams(21-22 if you count AB subscore)

I think I’ll make more than 14 ftw

Wow you guys take sooo many APs… I might decide to take a ton more then… like self-study a lot of them. I know that i definitely won’t take more than 1 World Language one and probably won’t take art stuff.

Music theory I’ll consider.

The rest I’ll definitely do.

Speaking of which. Is AP Euro basically Ap World except only focused on Europe?

There are 3 separate Studio Art exams, which should make 26.

And Russian has yet to exist as an AP exam.

Ahh, you’re right…
Same thing, someone out there is good at all the tests we are taking in addion to being good at art and/or foreign languages.

Yeh probably gonna go for 20-21 total also.

I wish I knew about AP exams freshman[0]/sophmore[1] year haha

^I wish I had known I could self-study as well. I could have taken a few tests last year and some this year. :(

Ive taken 13 so far (as a junior). I hope to take 6 more next year

I have taken 7 so far as a junior, and I’ll probably take at least 2 more next year. ftw.

*** you kids are insane. I will have taken 10 by the end of high school… We were not allowed to take any in 9th and only one or two in 10th…

^Yeh our school is like that too. No one ever self studies or anything.

But I realized that I could just talk with my GC and work something out. Your school can’t really say no (ierno maybe they can, but I’m pretty sure you can just call CB and ask them for an alternate testing place). Even if they did say no CB could probably put a little pressure on them.

I know my school had to pay for procs but I think that’s included in our AP fee.

I was once going for 25, and had 8 by the end of sophomore year, but now I’m only going for 20 or so.

My school doesn’t offer so many APs, but I’ve taken most through self-study

I had 4 in 10th, 9 this year, and probably 5-6 next year. So about 19-20 total.
