So, question...

How low do second semester grades need to be for WUSTL to rescind admission? I have a 3.3 UW now (in full IB) and I thought that was OK, but then my mom told me that they would def. rescind, which made me really scared.

What do you guys think?

I got a 3.33 too. They didn't even send me a note. You should be fine

You'll be fine, just don't get any C's.

OK, see that's part of my problem.

We have this huge test coming up in IB physics that's a cumulative of the last two years, yet we haven't reviewed anything. We are not allowed to have any formulas or calculators for the test. I'm pretty sure he's not going to curve it, and it's at the very least 80% of our grade for this quarter. We took a practice test that's supposed to be very similar and quite literally, everyone failed...the smartest person in our class (he got into princeton early!) even failed. I honestly don't know what to do, because I don't think there's a way that I CAN'T get a C (at the highest) in that class.

I honestly don't think a C will kill you either. You might have to explain, but it sounds like you have a pretty good story.

Also, if what you are saying is true (be sure you are nor exagerrating), you might mention it to your advisor. If your school has people getting into Princeton and Wash U, I have to assume your advisor would be interested that a bunch of his/her students that were just accepted to elite schools are about to get Cs because of an absurd test policy.
