<p>the way stern works is that you can do almost nothing and get a B in every class, or you can work exceptionally hard and get that A. the vast majority of students are in the 3.3-3.6 range. at least in the intro courses, the way the curve works is that only 5-10% of the class should get C's, so as long as you are not at the bottom of your class, getting a B should not be very hard.</p>
