I am looking for a 4 year school with a good graphic design program for a student with a 3.1,
West Coast preferably. Any suggestions?

Oregon State U.?
Utah State U.?

I think this is a better link: [Visual Arts and Film Majors - College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/visual-arts-film-majors/)

For many design programs, your portfolio will be more important than your overall GPA. Sit down with your art teachers, and get some advice about the admissions process at places that they are familiar with.

What can you spend?

What state are you in?

How much will your parents pay each year?

Keep in mind that many schools do not give much aid.

Thanks, we are in Calif. and he does have a graphic design portfolio. We are open to all schools financially.

If money is no object, then check out ACCD. [Graphic Design at Art Center](http://www.artcenter.edu/gpk/)
