What’s your class rank?
BU: Low.
Average stats: GPA of 3.61, Average admit ranking is top 7% of their senior class, average ACT of 32
American: Below average.
GPA is 3.66, 75th percentile ACT of 32 (So your ACT is outstanding for American)
GWU: Depending on rank, below average to slightly below average
GPA is not reported by the CDS, but your 32 ACT is above the 75th percentile. However, 56% of admits were in the top 10% of their class.
NEU: Low
GPA is not reported by their CDS either, ACT scores for the middle 50 percentiles range from 31 to 34, so you’re within range. Again, class rank is important too; 3 in 4 admits is in the top 10% of their class
NYU: Below average
Average GPA is reported to be above 3.56, your ACT is quite good though, as it’s almost at the 75th percentile (which is 33).
School does not rank. Alright, thanks for the response!
I also took a full IB curriculum, these were not easy classes.
A 3.2 would make Northeastern a high reach, possible entry through the NU In program.
@TomSrOfBoston - What schools in the northeast would I have a good chance of getting into?
I’m from NY, I’m aware of the SUNY/CUNY schools.
Syracuse would be a match.
@TomSrOfBoston - What about UMass?
What major? UMass for CS or business would be a reach.
