3.3 gpa, 1600 sat

Hi, I am applying this upcoming november.
My GPA is 3.3. which is not very good.
I havent taken any SATs yet but I am taking them this october and september
and december.
Lets say I score around 1600 on my SAT.
what schools do you think I can get into
if I write good personal statements..
I know 1600 is not really a good score and so is my gpa.
I am applying to UC Riverside, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara,
UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Long Beach,
Cal State Northridge, and UC Merced..
What are my chances.. and which schools do you think I can get into
please help...
I hope I can get into any one of them..

1600 was a perfect score a few years ago :)

hahah yeah 1600 … if u would go back up few years… i would have recommended u of harvard.

You should be good at Riverside, Northridge, Merced and probably Long Beach, depending on how insane the numbers are at the Cal States this year. The rest, I’m afraid, are reaches.

The CSUs only count your math and critical reading section of your SAT.

UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz are all reaches. The rest are matches. Try and retake the SATs to improve your chances. Good luck! :]
