I have a 3.05 GPA, what are my chances to get into any University of California schools? The School really want to get into is UC Santa Barbara. I do fall and spring sports, alot of extracurricular activities, AP/Honors courses, and Vice President of The Space and Engineering Academy. I have alot more but im not going to list everything. i have a 1310 SAT score and according to my english teacher's, really good personal statements. I know i might as well apply just to see, but like am i really a contender? The major i am going to put is Mathematics.

Is the 1310 score CR+M?

Regardless, UCSB is a reach. You should consider CC transfer.

What about the other UC’s? Also, are the CSU’s still a reach for me because I am really trying to avoid going to a CC.

The UCs are all reaches, but you could get into a few CSUs if that 1310 SAT is out of 1600 (CR+M).

Merced, Riverside and Santa Cruz are appropriate reach schools. Id say Cal State San Marcos would be a perfect fit. Along with cal state San bernardino, Monterey bay and Sacramento. The state schools are definitely a better fit for you.

It’s on the 2400 scale, 600 on Math, 350 on writing and 360 on reading. Im planning on taking it again in october.
